Eghosa Edebor graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Southern University with a B.A in Radio and Television Production & Journalism Minor, and an M.A in Communications. His professional experience includes eight years as a television producer at the Nigeria Television Authority NTA, and eleven year as an instructor at Texas Southern University. After moving to the E.B Cape Center, where he served as the Community Liaison Officer, he co-founded a public relations and marketing company SEONE Communications,LLC., and its subsidiaries, which include Christian Herald newspaper, Houston International Star newspaper, SEONE Educational Services and SEONE Energy.
Mr. Edebor is actively involved in many grass-roots activities. He served as a board member on the African Community Organization, and represents Nigeria in Houston on the Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Immigrant and Refugee Affairs, The Mayor’s International Trade and Development Council, the Immigrant Coalition of Houston, and Houston Community College Global Studies Project. He is a member of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO). Mr. Edebor served two full terms as the Executive President, and is currently a board member of the Nigerian Foundation Houston, Inc. – an organization which serves as the umbrella for over 150,000 Nigerians in Houston.
