Welcome to another exciting year in God’s program. As we celebrate the end of 2014, we can look back to the progress made and God’s over coming power that worked in us and through us over the year. At the beginning of 2014, the Lord assured us that it was going to be a year of New Things. To the glory of God, every one of us can testify of a new encounter, a new move, a new visitation of the Lord both spiritual and physical in 2014. The fact that you are alive now is a privileged worthy of testimony. I am grateful and looking forward to greater heights in 2015.
In the midst of what God was doing in 2014, I began to inquire of Him where He is taking His people to in 2015, I heard Him Say, Tell my people, “It’s going to be a year of FULFILLMENT”: For I will Fulfill my promises to them. Fulfillment is a feeling of satisfaction at having achieved a desire. Or, the contentment one feels when he/she has fulfilled a need or expectation. God is interested in your joy and satisfaction in 2015.
Secondly, I don’t want you to forget that the greatest contentment comes when one is working in line with God’s purpose for him/her. Meaning, that Jesus Christ MUST be the Lord of ones life. This means that He hears the voice and answers the prayer of His children who hear and obey Him also. David the Psalmist puts it this way “…. I shall be satisfied when I awake in your likeness” Ps 17vs.15. We must strive daily to remain in the likeness of Christ. So you and I to be fulfilled with the Fulfillment of God’s in our lives in 2015, we must focus on Him only.
Thirdly, be assured that God will fulfill His promises to you, “that your joy may be full in Him”. The Lord made three major promises to Abraham.
a) I will make you a great nation b) Seed, I will make your descendants like dust of the earth. c) Land, All the land you see, I will give to you and your descendants (Gen 12vs.2-3, Gen 13 vs.14-18, Gen 17vs.1-8)
Abraham was still struggling with his father’s house and Kindred when God promised to make him a great nation. God did it; today we all claim an inheritance of that land indicating that God Fulfilled His promise. Gen 12 vs.-12, Gen 17
Abraham has no child when God promised to make his descendants like dust of the earth It sounded ridiculous, but God meant every word of it and then came Isaac, You know the rest of the story. Today we all can testify that we are children of Abraham according to that promise of God. Gen 18vs.18, Gen 22vs.17-18
Finally, Abraham was a sojourner or visitor in the land when God promised to give him all the land as far as he can see. Till date the expansion and acquisition of land continues according to the word God. Gen 13vs.15, Gen 22vs.17-18, Gen 26vs.3-4
As a promise/ covenant keeper, God fulfilled every promise He to made Abraham. In the same manner also, He will fulfill all His promises to you. I hope you will be willing to fulfill yours to Him.
God bless you
